Autumn School Holidays – Arts Activities for Sydney Kids

The Autumn school holidays are nearly here, and it’s not just the Easter Bunny who is spreading joy this season. Sydney kids can get hopping to shows, workshops, galleries and more. Here is a round up of some of the best family arts activities around town these holidays.

Alice in Wonderland

Mimi’s Symphony

Dog Man: The Musical

“The Magic Garden” – A Children’s Concert

The Beecroft Orchestra and The Vegetable Plot pair up for this children’s concert. “Playing music by The Vegetable Plot alongside classical favourites and work by Australian composers.”

You Are Here

Room on the Broom

Circus of Illusion

Museum of Contemporary Art

Kids On Deck at the National Maritime Museum

You may think seafaring vessels when you think about the National Maritime Museum, but beyond that, they also have one of the best makers spaces for kids in town. The Kids on Deck Makers Space runs for most of the school holidays and is accessible with museum entry (full details here)

Move, Groove, Darling

Creating a Band With Spaghetti Confetti

“Join us for a collaborative workshop where kids become performers, learn to read simple music and rock out together as a group. They will learn to play, sing, dance and perform in their own band. Proudly presented by Sydney local performers, Spaghetti Confetti.
